Methods/Steps

First of all, weigh out 250 grams of soybeans bought, soak them in cool water for more than 10 hours, and directly soak them in the stainless steel jar inside the natto machine.

Put the beans in a pressure cooker together with the jar and steam until thoroughly cooked. I usually steam on medium heat for 20-25 minutes.

Cool the steamed beans to about 30-40 degrees Celsius, dilute a small bag of natto bacteria (0.3 grams) with warm water, and pour into the beans and mix well. Put the mixed beans into the natto machine to ferment for 14 hours.

Refrigerate the fermented natto in a box and eat within a week. Natto has a little taste, and those who are not used to it can be mixed with sesame oil, soy sauce, scallions, etc., to improve the taste, but can not be heated to avoid destroying nutrients such as natto kinase. About 30-100 grams each time, I use a small bowl of rice bowl to eat, it is best to eat before going to bed at night.
